Step 1 - Installation New RedMod Printer (Windows)

- Stard the Add Printer Wizard, and then click Next.
- Select Local Print, and then click Next.
- Check Add New Port, select Redirect Port in the combo box and accept the default name.
- Select the Generic/Text Only driver (probably it appear under General).
- Type AS400-FAX in the "Printer Name" fields, check No in the Default Printer selection and then click Next.
- Check the "Do not share this printer" option, and then click Next.
- Chech the "Do not print test page" option, and then click Next.
- Click on End for save the configuration.
- Open the property dialog box of the printer just installed, and go on the port tab.
- Select the port and click on the "Configure Port" button:
    - In the program field type the complete redmon\redrun.exe path of your hylapex installation (Es: C:\Program Files\Hylapex\redmon\redrun.exe)
    - In the argument filed type the coplete hylaprint.exe path with the %1 argument tagger (Es: C:\Program Files\Hylapex\hylaprint.exe %1)
    - Select "Program handles output" option in the "Output" combo box.
    - Select "Hidden" option in the "Run" combo box.
    - Check "Run as User"
    - Seve the parameters by clicking on the "OK" button
- Close the Printer property dialog box by clicking on the "OK" button

Step 2 - Configure a new PC5250 Printer Session (iSeries Access)

- Bring up a new PC5250 printer session by clicking: Start>Programs>IBM iSeries Access for Windows>Emulator and then "Start or Configure Session"
- In the "IBM Personal Communication" dialog box click on the "New Session" button.
- In the "Configure PC5250" dialog box:
    - Type the name of the system to connect.
    - Set the Workstation ID (Es PRT01FAX, or JOHNFAX).
    - Set the Type fo emulation to "Printer".
    - Click on "Setup" button for configuring the printer parameters.
    
- In the "PC5250 Printer Emulation Setup" dialog box:
    - Turn on "Transform print data to ASCII on iSeries"
    - In the "Printer Model" combo box select "*WSCSTLETTER" option.
    - In the "Drawer 1" combo box select "Letter" option, and leave on None value the other fields.
    - In the "Customizing Object" type QWPTIFFG4 and QSYS in the "Library" field

- Save the configuration clicking on the "OK" button of both dialog box
- You will see a PC5250 dialog box, click on the "OK".
- Select File > Print Setup:
    - In the "Print Setup" dialog box select the AS400-FAX printer previously configurated.
    - Click on the "OK" button to confirm
- Select File > Save to save ne new PC5250 Printe Session

Now you can use this AS400 outq device to redirect automacally spool file to your hylapex installation.
